Dr Pratibha Kukreja Pandit, Pediatric and Preventive Dentist was invited for a panel discussion on ‘Dental issues in office practice’ at Indian Academy of Pediatrics Pune Pedimeet 2023. Dr Pratibha Kukreja Pandit discussed routinely encountered dental issues in Pediatric Practice along with Dr Sanjay Jain and Dr Rajganesh Gautam.
The one-day conference was held on 6th August 2023 at Sheraton Grand, Pune and was attended by almost 150 enthusiastic Pediatricians from Pune.
Dr. Shrirang Pandit Delivers an Oration at AESURG 2023
AESURG 2023, an annual conference held by the Indian Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (IAAPS) and International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), was hosted by the Pune team at the sylvan surroundings of Aamby Valley from 1st to 5th March 2023. Dr. Shrirang Pandit was the Chief Patron and Dr. Davalbhakta was the chairman and organizer of this mega event. Shrirang Pandit was honored to deliver an oration in memory of the late Dr. U.S. Nayak, who was known as the “Gentleman of Plastic Surgery.” His topic “My Tryst with Aesthetic Surgery“ was appreciated by all.
The conference had 364 delegates and eighteen foreign faculty. The meeting was a resounding success.
Dr. Pratibha Kukreja Pandit Is Now A Nationally Certified Dental Specialist for Children with Special Needs
Dr. Pratibha Kukreja Pandit recently completed a national-level certificate course on the dental treatment of children with special health care needs. In this course conducted by ISPPD (Indian Society of Pedodontics and Preventive dentistry), Dr. Pratibha Kukreja was the only participant from Pune. As dental treatment of children with special health care needs is a niche area not practiced by many, she strongly believes that this course will help her find better treatment options for children with special needs in and around Pune and Maharashtra.

Dr. Pratibha Kukreja Pandit of the Pandit Clinic was part of a dental screening camp held on September 21st, 2022, at Bal Shikshan Mandir English Medium School on Bhandarkar road, Pune. Around 70 students between 3-6 years of age were examined for dental hygiene and treatment needs. The children were given good oral hygiene instructions, as well as toothpaste.

Dr. Vikram Pandit was invited speaker for “ISSACON 2019” 7th annual conference of Indian Association of Surgeons for Sleep Apnea, 29-31st march 2019 at PGIMER, Chandigarh. He presented on role of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea. He explained about the advantages and surgical treatment using skeletal framework surgery of Maxillo mandibular advancement. The conference was attended by many sleep surgeons from all over India.

Smile Train’s mission is to help every child with Cleft Lip and Palate to get medical and surgical treatments free of cost. Dr Shrirang Pandit’s rich experience in the field of Cleft Lip and Palate Surgeries make him the perfect person to lead the team at Poona Hospital. Dr Vikram Pandit, our Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon ably supports him on this philanthropic mission!
In the past 17 years, Dr Shrirang Pandit has examined more than 20,000 patients and performed more than 7000 surgeries completely free of cost for all of these underprivileged children.
This year on the 30th of January when the Smile Train conducted an informal event and rally to create awareness about Cleft Lip surgery, Dr Shrirang Pandit was honoured for his contribution to the project. The event was covered in newspapers such as Sakal and Pudhari. Dr Shrirang Pandit was also interviewed by Vividh Bharti, Pune.

Improving Oral Health of Visually Impaired
Dr Pratibha Kukreja Pandit (MDS Paediatric and Preventive Dentist) who is passionate about providing the best dental care to Children with special health care needs was recently in the news. Along with Dr Bhakti Datar, Dr Pratibha Kukreja Pandit was featured in the Hindustan Times’ “HT Metro” section on the occasion of Braille day on 4th January.
Dr Pratibha and Dr Bhakti visited 5 schools (for the visually impaired) in Kothrud, Bhosari, Alandi, Koregaon Park and Yerwada to create awareness about Oral Health Care. They gave the children tips on how to take care of their teeth, the importance of brushing twice a day and eating healthy food in an informational take-home handout printed in Braille.
The teachers and parents at all the 5 schools were thankful and happy for the efforts taken by Dr Pratibha Kukreja Pandit and Dr Bhakti Datar.
